Paul and I got up this morning and, while Hailey was sleeping and Libby was playing, we walked around the corner to DEVOTO ( a small grocery store) and picked up breakfast to eat with mate. This is a photo of Ed and Isabel's apartment from the front gate. Paul is holding the cart that we carried our groceries back in.
We went to the Montevideo Zoo after mate and made it home just before the downpour! This is the view from the apartment's front door.
I asked Elizabeth what she wanted to eat, "cheese and alami (salami)". When in Uruguay...

This is my coveted mate! I picked and purchased it myself from a street vendor. Ed helped me cure it. And I am drinking from a new, silver bombilla I also picked for myself at the Montevideo Shopping (mall). Don't I look happy!?!
