"That's so AWESOME!" is what Elizabeth said when we put the cake in front of her. And it was pretty awesome. Birthday Cake, one of the few moments when I think that one bite just might be worth it. Isabel ordered a cake from the bakery down the street, meringue frosting with dulce de leche between the layers. Man it looked great!!! Elizabeth was so buzzed with sugar afterwards, that I just got her to bed. It is 11pm in Uruguay.
It's still strange to look at my beautiful Miss Elizabeth and realize that I am her mom. Even in the mist of her terrible twos ( that have gotten a lot worse since we arrived) I adore her!
