Lesson Learned....

What do you do when Mariel yells "EM! You better get down here!!!" Pause. "And bring the camera."

Then she meets me half way down the stairs and says, "You'll laugh about it in a couple years, maybe."

Well, I did take a picture. And surprisingly I didn't scream, I didn't spank, I didn't even cry. I just said in my very serious mommy is NOT HAPPY voice , "MISS ELIZABETH". And she burst into nearly inconsolable tears, while I tried to keep a straight face....

Then Paul took me to Barnes for a hot chocolate... bless him!

Lessons:

1. Always buy WASHABLE paint.

2. When a 2 year old asks for paper and disappears silently for more than 5 minutes, trouble is a brewin'.

3. The MIRACLE CLEANER I bought last week, from the door-to-door salesman, doesn't make me a sucker!!!!!!!

Wow, way to keep your cool. I think I probably would have cried. And you have to take pictures! That's the only thing that's gotten me through a lot of those moments knowing someone else would find my trauma hilarious! Braeden's had some pretty huge messes but nothing that extreme yet. That's awesome it came out though! Much better than Jill's marker story.

You mean she didn't say "Mommy, you HAPPY"? And btw, is this the stuff you bought at Michaels the other day?! Should have spent the extra money:)

Way funny and awesome job on keeping it together! You totally deserved that hot chocolate. Let's go and chit chat over hot chocolate some time.
(I was going to say in the comment I deleted that I love Starbucks hot chocolate but I can't remember if Barnes has Starbucks. Do they?)

Ok so Matt bought the same cleaner from the door-to-door guy. I told him he was a sucker. But maybe just maybe it was worth it. That has not happened at my house yet. Knock on wood.

I first thought it was concrete like in a basement. Then in the last pic I realized it was carpet! Oh my gosh! Good thing it came out. I remember spilling bright pink nail polish on my moms new carpet and no it didn't come out...
