This was my 6th Year!!!!! making gingerbread houses at Christmas- a tradition that Mariel started who knows how many years before I came around. And every year, it is equally as fun and all the participants get more and more creative! This year, for the the first time, we made the houses on Christmas Day. Some of our "usuals" consequently did not make a showing this year. ( We missed you Steve and Rick)Here are the fruits of our labors...

WOW!!! That looks amazing. So much fun, I just love the holidays. When can you make houses out of food and not seem crazy...only the holidays.
I love your blog! I love your sweet family! And I adore those beautiful, magical creations! I want to do some next year! Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner - Terry had a heart attack on Dec. 19th and we were on a roller coaster ride for awhile! All is well - including Terry. Take care sweet Emily!
